List common questions in a job interview in English

Ezequiel Rodriguez contacted me earlier this year to introduce an online course to learn English vocabulary ( The Vocabulary Master ) in whose development was working and ask me what would be known in the blog.

Generally, I do not learn in the English blog of payment resources. In this case, as he was still developing the product, I said I would to know if when you have the course ready for writing a blog post with useful information for readers.

Ezekiel not only has finished the course you want to promote ( The Vocabulary Master ) but it also has written a very helpful post on a subject that is his specialty recruitment process.

Ezequiel Rodriquez has since 2002 worked as a consultant in the area of \u200b\u200bBusiness Inglés for selection processes in companies such as Accenture, Iberia, El Corte Ingles, Adecco and Deloitte, among others. Work on assessing the level of the candidates by companies as well as in preparing for job interviews at the individual level.

Then the guest post Ezequiel Rodriguez:

In the past it was common for companies to ask English in the curriculum but do not test knowledge of the candidate during the selection period. This was because the real possibilities of use language at work were not so high as now.

In an increasingly globalized world, midsize and large companies are having to resort more often to people to help them communicate with foreign markets either to find and keep new customers or to outsource services that are cheaper in countries developing countries where English is the everyday professional language.

So prepare specifically for a job interview in English, is a prerequisite when looking for work in today's job market ... but what happens when the candidate you think your level is not enough oral high to maintain a fluent conversation in English? What happens when the fear of making grammatical errors limits the right expression?

The preparation of a job interview is not something that can be solved in a few days or a few hours ... and study require effort on your part because like anything else, is the fear of the unknown that we mainly blocks. So take time for conversation practice, learn from each interview and prepared the best script you can. If you do that, your job interview can be a success you open the door to your life's work.

1. IMPROVE YOUR LEVEL ORAL

The main problem may be lack of practice in conversation. If you take a long time without speaking English and do you face up to something as important as a job interview, most likely to get nervous and that is noticed.

best thing to do is hire a teacher for a few days and practice speaking all the time. Together you can review your work life by following the information contained in your curriculum. It's a good idea to do a role-play in which your teacher will act as the interviewer and you explain in detail each item on your resume. You can also go to local language exchange where you can practice your English even to talk about things that are not related to job search. Speaking English is all you need to buy a little more ease and more relaxed during the interview.

2. WELL PREPARE YOUR SCRIPT.

As you can see below in this document includes the most important questions you can do in a job interview. If you prepare a good script in English, then it will be easier to have the vocabulary to express and demonstrate a complex way so you can be the best candidate. Write answers to each question in English and then translate them English, perhaps with the help of your teacher.

These questions are very useful for role-play during your private lessons.

3. Memorize or improvise.

Once you have the answers to questions typical of the selection process, you have two options, either memorize or internalize the text, something we might call "improvisation with preparation."

The best option is one with which you feel most comfortable. If you have an intermediate-level high, then it is always better to express naturally the answers because that will give room for new details considerations that are important as the interview unfolds.

If your level is low, then it is a good idea to memorize but always doing it on a text that is not too complex. If you express how wonderful a topic using advanced vocabulary, but then you cut in a simple question because you have nothing prepared, then you will notice what your true level.

4. SINCERITY ALWAYS WIN

In an interview in English're not going to hide reality. If your oral level is low then it is better to be honest and explain (always in English albeit simple) you're willing to learn and spend time learning language. You say you're taking classes with a tutor or preparing for an official investigation into an academy. The important thing is to see that your attitude is positive and that they can trust you.
